The pages of this site, and the KV store holding that subscribe address, sit on Cloudflare. Google Analytics, Google AdSense and Cloudflare Web Analytics each keep their data in their own global infrastructure, including servers in the United States, so visiting this site can involve cross-border transfers. The safeguards for those are the responsibility of the providers named below — we do not promise what is not ours to control.

Security Measures

This is a one-person site: there are no employees and no servers of our own. It runs on Cloudflare Workers, so the static files and the KV store holding that subscribe address are held by the platform, and everything is served over HTTPS. What we can vouch for ourselves is that the subscribe address lives only in this site's own KV store, and interface preferences and game saves live only in your own browser. What Google and Cloudflare collect and how they handle it is theirs to answer, itemised in the list below.

Data Retention Period

This site keeps no access-log database of its own, and we will not quote a retention table we do not operate. Three things you can check: the subscribe address stays in the KV store until you email us to remove it; mail you send us stays in our mailbox, with no extra archival period invented on top; preferences and game saves live in your own browser and disappear when you clear site data. Retention on the Google and Cloudflare side follows their policies.

GameStrategists is one person's original ARG puzzle-game site: the games and the guides are all first-party. We do not actively design or market our services to children under the age of 13, we take children's online privacy seriously, and we comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other applicable children's privacy regulations.

We do not actively or knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, we will immediately take reasonable steps to delete that information from our records.
