GameStrategists is an independent developer site for original games. Every ARG puzzle game and web game published here was designed, written and maintained by us, and every guide on the site documents those same games — we are the author of what we document, not a third party relaying someone else's play experience. We have no affiliation or sponsorship with Google, Microsoft or any other game company; Room 404, MrQiWinWinWin and Dajin GoGoGo each passed normal review and shipped on the Microsoft Store. Please read the following before using the site.
Original Content & Copyright
- Our original games (Room 404, Midnight Frequency, Tide Sound Archives, Sunken City, Eye of the Abyss, Rust River, Abyss Messenger, Last Online, Night Shift Rules, Unclaimed, Dajin GoGoGo, MrQiWinWinWin and others) are independently created by us; their stories, puzzle designs, code and artwork are copyright GameStrategists / alphaBETA DEV.
- The guides are first-party documentation. Every answer, ending condition and clue number is checked against the live build we shipped and against the game's own data files. Where an article was later corrected, the fix is recorded with its own date in the "change log" section at the end; an article that was never corrected has no such section, and should not have one.
Third-Party Names & Trademarks
- We publish first-party content only: the games we build ourselves, and those games’ own guides, puzzle breakdowns and development notes. Product and service names that appear on the site (for example Microsoft Store, Google AdSense, Cloudflare) are used solely to describe our distribution and hosting; the names, trademarks and interfaces remain the property of their respective owners, and we neither own nor claim to own them.
- We are not affiliated, authorised or sponsored by any of those companies. If wording anywhere on the site suggests otherwise, that is a drafting error and we would like to hear about it.
About Screenshots
- Game screenshots in our guides were captured by us from the live builds of our own games. They are our own material, carry no third-party copyright, and do not rely on a fair-use argument.
- Article headers come in two kinds: an illustration generated for that article with an AI image model (promotional art), or a capture taken from the running game. Whichever it is, the line directly under the image says so — evidence inside a guide is always a real screenshot.

Content Rating Notice
- Eye of the Abyss, Room 404, Rust River, Tide Sound Archives and Midnight Frequency each show a short warning line at the top of the screen before you enter, while the longer section is folded behind a control on that same screen reading Read the full notice, collapsed by default and visible only after opening it. For the first four of those titles that short line is the same Chinese sentence word for word; in English Rust River and Room 404 share one wording, while Eye of the Abyss and Tide Sound Archives each use their own, and Midnight Frequency writes a line of its own — a typhoon, a flood, missing people and grief, and it says plainly that there is no horror imagery, jump scares or flicker. The longer section, identical in Chinese across those files, states that the game carries horror, thriller and psychological pressure, that there may be sudden sounds, flashing and hard cuts, and that players with photosensitive epilepsy or a low tolerance should not play. The Sunken City writes that same longer section — the Chinese is word for word the same as those four — but shows no short line at all: it sits under a button on the title screen reading 游戏提示 · 免责声明, collapsed by default and visible only after opening it. Four titles write no warning on that screen and instead carry a row about horror in the table beneath the title — ERRATA reads “No horror imagery”, Last Online “No jump scares; sustained pressure”, Changming Inn · Night Shift Rules “Atmospheric; no jump scares”, Unclaimed “None” — that is a statement that the game is not horror, not a warning. The remaining nine titles (Abyss Messenger, Dajin: Go Go Go, The Last Bus to Lingjiao, Midnight Watch, Buried Summer, The Burning Scroll, The Light We Kept, MrQiWinWinWin, A Tank of Light) show only their name and how to play; no separate warning is written for them and no such row either. Minors are advised to play under parental guidance, and all players should choose according to their own comfort level.
